Default 50nl SC's to small 3bet

Ok the villain is like 14/9/3 over 200 hands or so. The small 3bet seems like a huge hand more often than not so I'm obv not gonna try a 4bet bluff.

Do we like the call pf given the decent implied odds?

What is he 3 betting here? pretty wide range since you are the button. Lets say 4% of hands since he open raises 9% and he is SB. puts him on AK AA-99 and AQs maybe not 99 or 1010, unless hes reraised lightly before. Against that range with that flop you have 5% eq. I like the call PF and I like the shove after his raise. You are shoving for value here.

We close the action, are getting 3-1 on our money to see a flop with a sexy hand and we have position.

Any reason for not calling PF?

I dont mind it, but what size does the 3bet have to be for us to fold this, i'm gussing 10+ right?

And, would we be calling this if this guy had us covered? How about if it was a shortstack (40bb or less)?

If he is deep then all the more reason to play the hand. If he is a short stack then PF is probably a fold because we have no implied odds (that said, I probably call )

I definitely fold if he makes this $10

I call with good actual odds, position and good implied odds vs. a full stacked opponent. But if he was a little tighter, had made it >$9 or he was BB and we were SB it's an insta-fold IMO.

This is a mistake.
The tighter he is the better (unless he's an incredibly loose reraiser and we plan to bluff shove any flop). With this hand we are not hoping to win the hand with a pair of 6s/5s, we are hoping to flop 2 pair or better and get paid off. With that in mind we would be happy if we could put him on squarely AK or QQ+ and know to put our money in when we have good equity against that range.

What if you only had a straight draw there would you get it in?

How about just a flush draw?

No. On that flop I'd be risking $40 ish to win $60ish and given that my pair outs will almost never be good I'll be about 2:1 with those draws.

With the guys stats and the size of the 4bet I'm certain this is QQ+ everytime (I doubt he bets that small with AK).
