NL10 trip Jacks, is my flop slowplay OK?
I figured I'm not gonna get outdrawn unless the turn comes a 5 and someone is playing J5 or some crap, right? I had no reads but I figured it was safe to appear weak here, right?

No, bet it out and take as much money as you can with 9-K J.

PF make your raise slightly bigger.
A flop slow play isn't bad because if we're not already beat there is very little chance we will get outdrawn. Stack sizes would be useful for determining whether the slow play is any good.
I would bet this most of the time unless up against a villain that will always pounce on weakness.

Assuming 100bb stacks, I almost always bet that flop but then I do have a stupidly high cbet% so I get the action.
Slowplay isn't too bad but you need reads that these guys like to bluff the turn or pounce on any weakness. At this level though I think you get calls from random Ax hands enough to justify sticking some money in.
Stacks would also be useful.

The fact you are both last to act and the preflop raiser makes me bet this since they aren't going to be as quick to put you on a jack as you are likely betting here with most of your range (At least I hope you would be )
However as harding says, if there were every a flop to slowplay this it, nobody can ever have more than 3 outs on such a dry board.
