Default NL10 99, should I have just checked behind on flop?

Aye, he very well could've been calling on a diamond draw and wanted you to bet again on the turn. Play was fine, just a shifty situation. Happens.

Good guess but no. He showed the hand when I folded. It was exactly what I thought it was and I was quite happy with myself.

Being full ring I don't mind occasionally overcalling pre flop rather than raising.

Turn and river is incredibly standard for full ring.

I would have just called but I figured being on the button I'd want to press the positional advantage.

Fair enough. Wota messaged me a quick PF strategy guide that's helped me quite a lot so I think I've been doing fairly well PF thus far.
