Default 50nl Middle pair in 3bet pot OOP

Villain is pretty much an unknown but from his early stats I'd guess he's a fairly solid grinder. Thoughts on pf and postflop?

These days I really struggle around flops like this in a 3bet pot, easy cbet or not?

I'd tend to play this flop like a pussy- given the raise/call from what appears to be a solid player you need to give him credit for an A or a pair, and I doubt he's raising you on this flop with KJ or T9.

I don't see why you shouldn't cbet. He can call your PF raise with a lot of things, not necessarily an Ace.

I'm putting him on >A8 or a pocket pair. And he's not raising this flop with 33.

EDIT: Given that it's six-handed I guess we can throw in face cards.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the PF 3-bet with KQo in the BB against a "fairly solid grinder"?

I considered that but 90% of the time I make a comment like that and I'm called a full-ring nit so I thought I'd let it slide.

Against a fairly solid grinder this is 100% standard. Take me for example, I'm a fairly solid 17/14/4 grinder and I'd be raising suited gappers etc from CO.

IMO, calling is the worst option pf.

BTW, adding to your point about raising marginals from CO- the HH says $0 for the button. Is this a type-o or is the button sitting out this hand? If so that makes CO effectively the button, and therefore his range is even wider.

I never noticed that, I assume he got busted the hand before. Either way, it doesn't make alot of difference imo, CO or button either way his range is huge.

Fair point, I didn't mind the 3-bet PF so much tbh.
