Default 2/4 - AJs, how do you play this?

villain is unknown, do we 3bet PF or is the call the best play? I always donk the flop with A high, should i be leading or c/r the turn? Is the river really an obvious fold even in no fold 'em hold 'em?

reraise pf, lead the flop and either call his likely super-standard flop raise and c/f turn if nothing hits or lead turn again and call down.

ur getting roughly the right price to c/c the flop if u consider that u have approx 7-8 outs(discounting slightly for only one opponent, that the Ah, Jh, 2h may not be full outs and the fact ur drawing to idiot end of straight)

as played im leading the turn, call a raise and have to b/f the river if he fires again on that board.

So as played do you call the river?

That's 3 hands now where you say re raise PF, maybe I need to stop playing like a pussy. Is AJs really good enough here for a 3bet 9 handed and OOP? How do you proceed if we get 4bet PF?

Yes, I actually like calling here with a hand like AJ but 3betting with KQ/KJ/99. My reasoning is that if we 3bet preflop and lead an A high flop we are generally getting rid off any hand that doesn't include an ace so if we hold KQ we have alot of fold equity over small-mid pairs on Axx as well as beating them on Kxx and Qxx.
By flat calling with the Ax we will always get at least one bet from our opponent on the flop when he bets the Axx flop with whatever he holds.

Call flop with 2 overs and call down if we hit just 1 pair.
Raise 2 pair or better.

against standard blind steals, im generally never just calling from the button/blinds. If its good enough to play, im going into aggro mode with it(especially at nitty tables like Crypto)....generally AKs-ATs, any pair AA-88, any KQ-KT and any Ax if there any reads.

against a typical late position pf raise its more than good enough and id be likely to call down to showdown unimproved and still expect to have the best hand a lot of the time.

and meh to trickiness at minbet.....ABC ftw.
