Default Live Poker £100NL hand

Was playing some live poker with Shalesey in London this week. This hand we had differing opinions on.

I have a pretty tight image although I think the only hand I have shown down was 97s after my squeeze attmept failed and I flopped a straight.

Game has just gone about 6 handed from 9 players and I pick up KK and I open to £5 and get called by 1 LP player and both blinds.

SB (very loose player, probably 80% VPIP and will bet/call with any pair on flop)
BB (seems very solid - he actually laid down AK to my 3bet when I had the 97s)
Myself and BB are 180bb deep and the SB covers us.

Flop K62r

Checks to me and I bet £20 into £20, LP player folds, SB calls and BB check-raises to £50. I actually put him on a set here but want the other guy to call with A6 so I flat call and so does the loose guy so we are 3 way to the turn.

Turn was I think an 8 completing the rainbow. (Pot £170ish)

Checks to me and I check behind.

River was a 3. (I have £120ish left) Checks to me.

My action and why?

I'd go for £75 and try and get a call from the loose guy with whatever mediocre pair he might have.

Given the read on the bb, I don't think we're getting any money from him unless he has a set, in which case it'll all go in.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Only have 2/3 of a psb anyway, anything less will look like a sucker bet to the solid player. I don't think he'll pay you with anything less than a set, so you're most concerned about getting SB's money in. Is he stupid or agro enough to think he has FE and would raise a small bet say $50 on the river?

If all else fails go with the blanket read that applies to all live poker that everyone sucks until proven otherwise and just shove.

I disagree with this. Maybe London has the highest pecentage of competent card players in the world but even at 50p/£1 blinds NL, which is the snallest game running the standard doesn't seem that bad. Maybe he higher games are actually fishier since there is a higher percentage of gamblers I don't know.

Don't get me wrong the game are very beatable but most people seem to understand position/basic preflop hand rankings etc. and not autostack off with any old crap.

This wasn't $5NL. I am a huge nit in my usual games.

I just wanted to (and did) push all my money in the middle figuring its not even pot size and if he calls anything he probablycalls a shove.

Shalesey said I should bet about £40 so even if the guy knows he is beat he will still call.

As it happened the donk instamucked and the TAGish guy took about 2 minutes to fold KQ. I probably should have reasoned that the TAG player is almost never checking a set to me on the turn and river, he can never be drawing on that flop and so he must usually have JK - AK and not want to go broke. However he cannot fold top pair with 5-1 odds if I bet £40 or so.

wtf is this Q, anything other than shove here is awful

also i'd probably put him on the installment plan on the turn. ie, bet like 40 and get ready to push river.
