There are alot of people who say you should almost always bet the flop after 3betting pf, but I would check here. I don't think you get a call from many worse hands. I would check and let him have a stab at it with 77-KK, I think you get more value this way than by betting. You also control the pot size for when he has AQ/AK etc.

btw I'm not overly keen on the 3bet pf. I'd give an unknown UTG raiser some credit to start with, I'd probably call and take a flop in position. It's not terrible though.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Those were 100% my thoughts. He was never c/cing this flop so I could basically smell the c/r coming leaving me with no idea what to do.

Thanks for replies, I did fold.

Had I called, I'm basically committed to call any turn shove bar a K/Q right?

I would have called to see Turn. Like someone mentioned, he might have 77-KK and still reraise you, just to confirm that you do have an Ace. I would again bet the turn for about 1/2 pot. Now if he still reraise you, it is clear that he has you beat. (But you are never sure, you may get brain-damaged player to go all in in 77-KK even though you made it clear that you have an Ace.)

Looks at stack sizes. If i call flop c/r any turn bet is a shove.

He's not check-raising with 77-KK in a 3bet pot.

I said check behind so you can let him fire at the the pot on the turn with 77-KK, calling the raise is terrible unless you have a great read. And yeah, calling commits you to felting it.
