Stuff like this is becoming standard for me now.

Raise the flop bigger, to $2 at least.

I dunno, I'm not overly keen on firing that turn card. I'd like to see evidence that the guy has a fold button not just that he's aggro. Certain people will lay down a mid pair here, but there are plenty who won't.

I play this exactly the same, except raise a little more on the flop.

Turn bet is standard

I'm not sure I liked the turn bet, I mean, what hand are you representing that helped? You didn't raise preflop OOP with .

But like you said, if you thought his check was a surrender, well played and nh.

Umm...he is representing AJ or JJ to AA. Maybe even like TT. His turn bet doesnt say that the helped him, just that he isnt scared to keep value betting.

But what is he calling the flop raise with that he's then folding on that turn? You've shown plenty of aggression preflop and on the flop and he hasn't gone anywhere, I just don't think another barrel on that card is +ev in the slightest.

His check on the turn isn't surrender either, it's standard. He'll do that with a monster just as much as with air.

It's not the sort of thing I'd just try against anyone with an AF of 5. One of those reads you can't put a finger on, but this guy had given up tons of pots to turn bets, and I think firing a blank turn is much more scary to him than an ace or king.
