Default 50nl JJ vs co-ordinated flop action

Villain is 35/5/2. Doesn't like raising much pf but calls fairly light and is not afraid to put money in postflop, he doesn't need the nuts to do it.

WTF do I do here?

SB ($115.80)
BB ($81.80)

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

im feeling a shove. im not sure how he plays his premiums PF, but from what you tell me, it seems he thinks you missed the flop and hes 3 betting to get you to fold.

on the other hand ive seen limps OOP with 44 33 77, so he could have been calling PF for set value, but i just dont see him leading out on that flop if he hit a set.

so im going with my original answer of a push.

davidab157157 (9:06:45 PM): what to do?
jamesharding86 (9:09:40 PM): scream?
jamesharding86 (9:09:43 PM): lol
jamesharding86 (9:10:26 PM): bloody hell this is a tough one cos his range is so wide
jamesharding86 (9:10:50 PM): he could have set/straight/overpair to board/pair+gutshot
jamesharding86 (9:11:00 PM): maybe even A7?
davidab157157 (9:11:15 PM): yeah
davidab157157 (9:11:24 PM): given that range i put it into pokerstove
davidab157157 (9:11:30 PM): and it came out 50/50
jamesharding86 (9:11:48 PM): i think i let this one go (typed before i heard it was 50/50 according to pokerstove)

The reason I said fold was because the fish bet/3 bet always represents MASSIVE strength, even more so than check min raises!!!

This seems a bit of a stretch. Min betting in the hope he will get raised so he can then 3bet and force you to fold as a stone cold bluff.

There are no straight draws and no flush draws. Seems a weird line to take with 88-TT. You don't have a huge amount invested in the pot and are essentially going all in for $40 to win $60 here.

I would fold.

What beats us: AA, KK, QQ, 77, 33, 44, 56.

I can see 77, 33, 44 and 56 (sooted) calling PF here.

What we beat that would call an all-in assuming villain isn't a complete donk: TT, 99, 88 and maybe A7.

I fold.

It wasn't a minbet. It was a bit on the small side, but still min would be 50c.

No straight draws? Are we discounting 55/66 completely here?

I know jharding disagrees with me here but I don't think it's that odd a line to take with 88-TT and if I put that range into pokerstove (33-TT,56) it's pretty much 50/50.

55-66 check-calls or check-raises most of the time imo.
I would almost never expect to see anything except a set or straight with a villain taking this line. Infact if he can turn up with a bluff in this spot I would be very afraid of playing him.
