Same table, second guy actually took firsts seat after he left, both within five hands

just c/f the the flop in the first hand

2nd hand seems fine postflop, but why did you open so big pf?

squeezy haven't you got to cbet like 90% of flops that are 3bet pf? is the one if the10% you dont?

It's a horrible flop and it's most likely hit almost every single part of the villains range so I don't see you taking it down with a cbet. The fact that effective stacks are only 1.5x the pot makes me even less likely to bet as you commit yourself to calling a shove.

People keep telling me to cbet more in 3bet pots, but I don't like betting that kind of board. Just think what hands he has that are calling a 3bet and almost all of them connect with that board in some way.

Also if you check and he checks behind, you might hit that miracle J and get the nuts for free.

fwiw I think the 3bet is slightly too big pf, I'd go up to $0.70 (pot+2bb). That sizing also gives you a bit more leeway on the flop as effective stacks will be bigger in relation to the pot.

Second hand, pf raise is huge, lol. I think I get it in on the flop given the stacks, if you call you're hardly folding the turn so just go for it on the flop imo.
