Default Good Folds?

Were these good Folds? Thanks in advance for the help. Like I had said in an earlier Post. I am coming back to Poker after taking a few months off. Kinda starting all over, and I am wanted to get as much help as possible. So I will probably be posting alot of hands. Thanks alot for the help.

Hand 1 Good Fold? Hows the Flop Bet? Should I have saved the $ and Checked? Should I have called? I thought with Opponents stack size and bet size that they had QQ-AA. What do think?

Hand 2 I figured at best I am racing VS small PP. I though very likely AA because lot of ppl like to Check Raise AA PF in early position. What do you think?

Hand 1:

I think you may still have the best hand, but I don't like your bet size. With so many people in the pot I would be betting ~$4.50. As played, I would call the raise and re-evaluate on the turn. If a spade comes or an overcard to your nine then its an easy laydown.

Hand 2:

I would bet closer to $1.70 on the flop. I think your bet is too small and it just looks like a feeler bet so the guy could be raising with nothing because he senses weakness and has position. Generally I like to bet 2/3 - 3/4 of the pot on the flop. His gay minraise gives you almost 4.7:1 on your money to call so I would definitely call and hope to spike a Queen or Ace on the turn.

Hand 3:

I would make your raise bigger on the flop - at least $2.60. The fold on the turn is OK, although you might still have the best hand. I'm not sure how others would play that....

Any chance you could put different hands into different threads? I don't know about anyone else but I don't tend to read the threads with multiple hands, bugs me for some reason.

What Dave said.

But first hand, I wouldn't fold. I think you're likely up against A8.

Second, I may fold, depends on any reads on the villain. But it's a tiny raise, I think for that price you can see a turn, it's 4 or 5-1, no?

Third, maybe fold there. I'd definitely bet more on that flop though, it's so drawy. Raise to $2.50? And for me, two exactly pot sized bets in a row look kinda bluffy, but I could be wrong there. It seems to me too many people automatically use the "bet pot" button when they're bluffing.
