In a $10 game, shove the river. He either has nothing and he's folding anyway or he's stubbornly put you on AK and will call with any pair.

I'd reraise preflop. Doing so allows each subsequent bet on the flop, turn and river to be of a better size. Is your bet on the river a preventative one or were you looking for value there? I know at these lower levels villians will call down the whole way with something like a/q and/or k/q but I think in this case him calling your your check raise on the flop and lead on the turn shows that he may already have a made hand but I still understand the caution. I think the only potential for more value would have been either preflop or on the river - other streets were maximized.

You need to re-raise pre-flop, for a few reasons:

1) you need to know where you're at with this hand since you're out of position, a simple raise to .70 would suffice. another raise signifies you are probably beat at the moment. However, with the stack sizes you can probably call any normal raise for set value. your implied odds will be there since most people will not lay down QQ-AA on a Jack high board

2) As someone else stated, you will create a larger starting pool which will increase the bet sizes and keeps stations more interested.
