After looking at his Stats using PO it was clear he was an aggressive player.

I wasnt 100% sure whether or not he had the 9. I was speaking to a mate of mine that plays good poker who told me that following a set limit to raise with for example: 4x the BB in microlimits is useless because they just dont understand.

Going to need to try that out

You have to raise more on the flop, pretty sure the bb had the 9. Your raise gave him beautiful odds to call and hit the straight (even if he doesn't understand the odds concept go back to sklansky's theorem, if he makes a bad call you gain). A re-raise to 30c would give him poor odds (even if sb calls its less than 3:1 and assuming you recognise when he hits the straight you're not giving him implied odds) and define your hand, he can call with all sorts of draws to an 8c reraise.

You have to give up on the turn, someone's got a straight and if so you're drawing dead (to win anyway).

A word of advice for the micro limits, overbet everything.
PF raises of 10BB, flop bets that are bigger than the pot (on this flop I'm raising to $0.50 and then shutting down if anyone calls.) It sucks cause you wind up building big pots and then getting sucked out on but you need to make them pay through the nose for those times that they don't hit their 2/3/4 outer.
