Do you think your opponent is likely to call a flop bet with a hand like AJ on the flop or to call flop simply to make a bluff on the turn if bet to?
Probably not in which case he should have JJ/QQ/AA/5x/77 here and of those you're only beating QQ so good fold. I am sure he will have 88-TT sometimes aswell but unless you have a read hes an aggresive opponent you can't give much weighting to these hands.

Turn/river minraises are pretty strong, but people know that and I'd call the turn as you played it because that weak $7 bet spreads Villian's range so wide to the point where he can do this with any pair and any 2 clubs. Going into the turn, Villian has $40 left and there's close to $20 in the pot. I'd bet $15'ish here myself and fold to a push. Checking's not bad either, but he can bet $15 after a check and push any 2 on the river if you check/call the turn and the CR'ing the turn only gets called when you're in bad shape.

I prefer betting the turn, but you're better off checking instead of betting 35% of the pot.

I agree with Alex about calling the turn, I think you almost have to. But I think I would check the river and call any reasonably sized bet.

some ppl also make plays at the pot in this situation cause the flop does look like it missed you all together and he may have made a call to take the pot off you on the turn. Also i think the only hands you have to wrry bout here are 77 jj, unless you have a read on him which suggest he'll call a heads-up pot with suited connectors.

ty guys. I probably was a little to hesitant on the turn but since I experienced some weird hands this day like set over set and boat over boat I just thought that PP rapes me big time. I actually don't see a reason why he should have pushed the turn with JJ/77 but I just was 5 min at the table so I'm fine with that.
