Default I Keep Leaving Money on the Table

Villain turned out to have exactly what I thought he had. I debated making another bet on the river but the villain had $70 back and I didn't really want to put $70 more into the pot without being sure my opponent didn't just make his flush.

Am I still playing scared or was this a reasonable check?

$64 in the pot and only about $70 behind Villian on the river. Looks fine to me. A lot of people saw this flop and this is why you raised the turn. He's either got a Jack he's calling $30-$35 with or folding or he's checking to get you to commit your stack with a flush because you've made it clear you have a hand.

I check behind there to be honest.

I don't like the preflop limp - I don't think T6s has any real value unless you are going to pop it up to 6bb here and try to take it down PF or on the flop with a c-bet.

Also I would fold flop personally, are you planning to bluff a scare card?

I'd call the flop. 4 of the 6 players checked. Player #5 gives us 2.5:1. We get HU a lot here and he's betting almost any non-heart turn where we pop a 6 or T and he'll sacrifice the pot to a heart so much. 1/8'ish times, we're getting another $8-$10 and sometimes $25-$30 on the turn and we can stack him on a lot of rivers. 1/5 times, a heart hits and we can take the pot as is and the times he bets the heart and folds makes up for the times he check/raises the heart. The times we hit the 6 or T more than makes up for when he bets and re-raises the heart.

I just say that because betting an FD is so uncommon with generally passive players and if they do with this many people, they won't bet 2/3, they'll sweeten the pot with a smaller bet so often when they choose to bet when checked to them. That said, I like the river check because of the stacks in relation to the pot and it's a good setup for when that scare card makes our hand.

What of the T comes and the villain has JT? We go broke.
What if the T/6 comes and he flopped trips?

I think there's ways to improve and still lose.

Yeah, but I'm a retard. Honestly, I'm lookin' at the "outs' to the hearts in position.

PF....6Ts on the button, 5 to 1 on my money and little to no chance of the blinds raising, I don't really see anything wrong with taking a flop here. In NLHETAP, Sklansky advocates limping with a VERY wide range of hands in this exact situation and since reading his book and following his advice, I'd have to agree.

Flop....There's really only a couple of hands that I truly fear. 22, 66 and JT (since a T on the turn could very well get me into trouble.) 66 becomes unlikely since I'm holding a 6 and to me the villains bet is pretty much telling me that he's holding a J in his hand. So my call here isn't because I think I have the best hand, it's because I think there's a pretty good chance I can take this hand away on a later street. Really I'm hoping to see a scare card on the turn (any heart, K or A would do in this case) and then have my opponent check to me.

And this is why it's ok to call PF with T6s on the button against a bunch of limpers. I'm either looking to flop a monster or use my position and aggression to win a pot that isn't rightfully mine.
