Default AQs OOP v. shortstack

OK. I have big problems with shortstacks, especially OOP that just shove every flop they like. He was playing check/push to every flop he liked OOP and potting every flop he liked when checked to. He's your typical bonehead that sat with $150 and doubled up with 88 when he check/called all-in the flop after hitting his set and putting the pot $36 in PF and cracked JJ. But he's shoved 2 other flops that I remember and not been called.

He's been here for 45 minutes at most and that was the only hand he's showndown besides when he limped OTB with T9s behind 4 others and called 2/3pot on the river after the hand was checked down beforehand (Board: Q-4-4-9-7rbw).

Stack sizes:
UTG: $940
CO: $355.50
Button: $473
Double Gutted: $922
BB: $669.50

Pre-flop: (5 players) Double Gutted is SB with
UTG folds, CO raises to $18, Button folds, Double Gutted raises to $55.50, BB folds, CO calls $37.50.

Anyone just calling here? If so, how would you have approached this flop?

Flop: ($117, 2 players)
Double Gutted bets $99, CO raises all-in $300, Double Gutted calls.

EDIT: Anyone going for the CRAI here? Or bet smaller and fold to a push?

Thoughts from PF to flop call? Should I be making so many actions made to commit myself to these stacks in spots like this?

hmmmmm. Pre-flop was good.

Against a hyper aggressive player I check the flop. You know his play. You got shit right now. You are beat by 26o at this point. Hand has a bunch of possibilities.
A, Q, K, running flush, running straight from the bottom, but most of these are very unlikely to hit.

If he is holding AT or AJ or A6, your A is usless.

So basically you need the K.

You are 18% about 1:5.

CO pushes the pot is about $520. $200 to call and make a $700 pot. Gives you 7:2.

Bad call.

His PF could've been made with complete air because of position. I like the reraise, you got a strong hand for headsup. On the flop, I don't mind the play at all, really. He could simply be pushing the flop with nothing knowing he's been getting respect for pushing flops he's liked.

He seems to be too damn aggro for his own good so I'd probably c/r here. Hang him for leading into the pre-flop re-raiser.

To be perfectly honest, I think he raised you on the flop thinking you were doing nothing more than c-betting. I'd EXPECT to see a lower pair here than what the board's showing by the way he's played the hand.

Let's hope you hit some outs!

PF play is standard.

Flop I would have bet smaller and folded to a push. Personally I would have bet about 72$ on that flop.

As played, I think you have to fold. Unless you think ur A and Q are both live Or if your villian is capable of doing this play with a draw (KQ), but even then its still a marginal call imo.

I play exactly the same as you but it is a tilt call on flop. I can't play against shortstacks either.
