Im hoping to hear some advice on certain hands now that i'm back in action. Should i have raised such a big bet on the turn to make him pay to see the river for that possible flush?

im putting it all in on the turn instead of raising such a small amount.

since this is a micro game, you can probably raise the flop harder as well and still get the same action.
in fact, it might actually be even better to raise harder as this way if hes a donk that cant fold JJ-KK here, you get his money in faster. If he has the overpair on that board, u want him in now. That A on the turn probably killed ur action.

I never realized i should bet so hard in the microlimit games if i want to succeed in pushing an opponent out of the pot. Im still alittle rusty but hopefully i can work on everything!

its not that you should be pushing people out of the pot, its that you should be making them make incorrect calls to beat your made hands!

there is really no bluffing in micro limit games, people very rarely fold
