Default Better to see a river or take it now?

Very tilt influenced, i wont deny that. I was just getting tired of outdraws every hand. I didnt like the board, and this guy has been trying to push me around since i sat down.

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is Button with
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, SB folds, BB calls.

Flop: ($2.1, 2 players)
BB bets $1, Hero raises to $3.25, BB calls.

Turn: ($8.6, 2 players)
BB bets $2, Hero raises all-in $13.35, BB folds.
Uncalled bets: $11.35 returned to Hero.

Results:
Final pot: $12.6

He only has to call $11.35 into a $26.60 pot, so its not like its a crazy overbet or anything, i just didnt want a river

If he has J9, river is an 8
If he has JQ, river is a K.

Either option, they are spades and a spade will river.

Thats my life

Seriously if you feel like you get a lot of bad beats you probably should play your hands faster. I feel like I very rarely get bad beats and that is because I very rarely gay bet my strong hands.

Thats not an overbet to me there. Its not even a potsized raise and given your chip stack and the drawing nature of the board any bet other than all in on that turn would be a huge mistake in my opinion. You may well be losing already to flopped trips/straight and its hard to imagine any 2 pair hand you beat is calling a min raise and folding to an all in.

Also if the drawing hands fold or call it doesn't matter you are making long term either way.

obga's read is spot on imo, it's very likely he has a weak hand, and raising doesn't hurt to prevent river suckouts
