Default Play this hand

Standard 2/4 game. Full ring 10 players.

Have a 200$ stack, everyone else covers me.

Dealt KK UTG, I limp with the intention of a limp re-raise.
UTG+1 min raises it to 8$.
1 caller from MP.
1 caller from BB.

I re-raise to 36$ total.

Original pf min raiser calls, as does the guy from MP.

Flop is AK6, with 2 hearts (potsize is $115)

I have $164 left and im first to act. How do you play this, and why?

If you know they will bet, i'll go for a check-raise all-in. But if they're more conservative, i'll just push they flop.

take pot down w/ pot size bet. AQ, AK will call, rest of hands are prolly drawing to a suckout like FD, strait draw.

I bet $70-80 and obviously call a push. I want to get some action from a hand like QQ/ Ax which may be more likely to fold to an overbet push but even feel he has fold equity if he pushes.

Given your odds of making full house the flush draw is going to be winning on turn 7/45 or 1 in 6.5 times. By betting $80 into $115 with implied odds for the rest of your 80 stack you deny correct odds for the flush to chase and don't need to fold even if a heart hits - especially given your redraw possibilities.

I think there are 2 good moves depending on your opponent.

1.) Aggressive opponent or just a good postflop player is one that you lose value from overbetting because they don't like people putting their money in for them. I like a $75-$80 bet here because you give them a chance to make a mistake.

2.) Payoff wizards is an obvious $100+ bet.

My point's that you don't wanna make that never gets action from the hands you want action from like shitty Aces and strong Kings.

aight, thanks for replies all..

anyways, heres how the hand turned out.

I bet 71$. In hopes that someone with a A would push me in.

Initial pf min raiser calls it.

Turn completes the heart FD. I think to myself, OH DAMN!
I got like 93$ left, and the pots 257$.. so obviously no way im folding here, so I just push the rest in. It gets called, by the flush. He has K4 of hearts. No help for me on river, gg.

This is what happens when you slowplay and let people with drawing hands like K4s in. LOL what a donkey, was this the $400 game on Pokerroom again?

I used to make ridiculously large value bets on Party. You got a fish pond, so even with no reads, that $100 bet or even just shoving the flop looks good. This isn't a case where you can lure him in on the flop to only give him 1 card after you come super strong out of nowhere on the turn when he thinks he's getting 2 because of your stack. Rationale here is that if he doesn't call your shove, he isn't giving you action any other way and check/raising isn't the way to go here.
