Your reasons for betting in to him are important for our analysis. Without knowing your reads it looks like you played the hand badly.

Without reads it was not well played at all. I fold 7's to a 10 bb raise everytime. When I think about it your flop bet is bad even if you have a read on the preflop raiser.

C/F flop.

OK reasons:

1)He had been over betting hands such as AK KQ AQ AJ and the times he had AA and KK he raised 3-4* BB. He was hitting some good cards - he also had JJ and 1010 and raised 2-3*BB with those. So that was the reason I called. He had big slick, but not a made hand.

2)As soon as he bet I put him on AK

3)Flop raise was to make sure. Of course he could have been laying a trap etc, but that was not the way he had been playing - if he had been playing a made hand - he would let it be known.

4)I had a feeling he was not going to let it go either so I was prepared to push my whole stack in against his

5)The spade on the river made me think for a while - I knew AK, what I wasn't sure of was if he made a flush. But from what was on the board early and the way he would only call I made the call that he was trying to push me off the pot.

You know what he's got, why are you betting so small? Also, there are two other players in on the flop, are you at all worried about them? What's your plan on the turn if one of them calls your flop bet?

Pretty much.

This looks like a donkey that can't lay down a pair more than a savage read. Fold preflop. Your implied odds suck. If you're betting the turn, bet to take it down. This board sucks and too many rivers beat you or freeze you up OOP if you're best now. Great spot for a near pot-sized bet.

OK

So the fold PF is the first and only option here.......well depending on the amount raised. When I do accidentally stumble into these situations give a good size raise if called check the turn and fold to any raise??

To the other two still in it - my biggest weakness - I get focused.......every so often on one player only and seem to block out the rest.......when they do bet I sort of get surprised that they are even there :blush. I did all that I did focused solely on the one player.......oops.
