Default Villain criticized me, what do you think? (QQ)

After the hand the villain said that my move was too risky because he might have had AA or KK. I almost folded PF, fearing the same thing, but I figured if he did have AA or KK then he probably would have re-raised less PF. I put him on AK or maybe a pair I could beat (88, TT, JJ).....a hand that wanted to end it PF.

I think this is highly dependant on your read of the player. If he was loose and reckless I may have reraised preflop all in, to push the value of the queens, cause if an A or K flops you are done with the hand, and you are down almost a fifth of a buyin. If he was tight though, I would have folded to the large reraise for fear of aces or kings. Given the action, and if he was decent, it seems like he has AK.

You showed your hand? Why?

And I agree that is 100% read dependent. Alot of players will only ever reraise with KK or AA especialy at $50 - $100 games. If hes a maniac then obviously you don't fold.

After the hand, the villain asked if I had JJ and I said close. I was on my way out so I didnt really care about giving anything away.

You should have said you had AQ instead. I too think your read was correct, though there are people raising that big AA/KK, I do it sometimes if I'm up with a total maniac.

I agree.

But if you have the guy pegged as an aggressive re-raiser, you're all-in on this flop if you call preflop. If this is a weak player, it's an easy fold because they're over-protective of big hands. That's how most of these players are- weak. Action scares the shit out of them in los-stakes, so that's where your read is flawed and calling is very player dependent.

If someone wants to say "That was risky. I could've had Aces or Kings." Tell 'em to suck their dick elsewhere because the sounds annoy you.
