Default $50NL KK facing large bet on drawy flop

http://www.pokerhand.org/?565595

I think I should have folded to the flop bet, this guy was a maniac, and I think he would have called pf with JT-AA. Given the board it is too likely that he hit a set, 2 pair, or straight. That said, his bet seemed to me like he was trying to push me off the pot.

How would you play it?

Of course you should go all in on the flop. He had to know that his only outs are the 4 Queens. Just bad luck for you.

Cheers,
Nima

A set will probably check-raise that flop, I have enough of my stack in the pot that I go broke here also.

Eh. Bad luck. Anything that beats Kings there isn't leading into the raiser with a shove. Good call.

Instant raise all in on that flop.

Anytime i raise enough pf to kill the implied odds of my stack with AA/KK then I won't think twice about pushing all in on a flop as long as there are no overcards. And the fact that u RRed to 10$ pf, means u killed his implied odds to continue playing his hand preflop (provided he doesnt have AA - in which case he wouldnt need the implied odds to play his hand). So basically what this means is that even if he called ur pf raise with JJ and hit the set on the flop and stacked you, he will still end up losing $$ to you in the long run from the amount of $$ he puts in preflop to catch that set.

You crush him in the long run, even if u get stacked here. Which is why I dont think twice about pushing a flop like that.

also, preflop i make it at least 12$ to go... but this is just cuz im too used to using the 3x re-raise rule as the minimum for re-raising pf raises.

We lose to AA, JJ, TT 18 hands
We win AK, QQ 14 hands

So we probably lose, but with the money in the pot already it looks like an instapush to me.
