"Do you check here?"
nope.. i bet that every single time

especially at those limits where people are willing to call any bet with any draw.. so why check and give them a free card when u can make them pay for it?

I also like to bet my sets, why? Because people don't expect it.

It's unbelievable the amount of action you can get from betting them. You even sometimes get people raising you representing that they have the set because they don't believe you have it. Yes sometimes everyone folds and you think bout how much more you could have got for it but I find in the long run I make more from betting them.

Another point to make is that betting the set can depend on whether uve hit a set with a pp or like you did using one of your hole cards.

Here's an illustration, I was playing a hand on UB earlier and I had 3s, flop came TTJ, checked round, turn was a 3. The guy checking his set on the flop ended up paying me off when a bet on the flop would have got rid of me.

The point I'm making is that with your QT, you are vulnerable to people hitting a full house with a pp. like I did to that guy on UB and in this case it is more worth betting it on the flop!

Also, if u hit with a pp, you have more chances of making a full house (I think, I haven't done the exact maths) and so can play it slower.
