Default Did I play this too soft?

In retrospect the bettor was probably protecting a pair of queens with a weaker kicker, I just did not want to get involved with three to a flush on the board, 2 behind me and only tptk. If I call the flop, and he bets the turn what do I do?

i think your play was fine.

i like your reasoning also. no sense getting involved with the flushed flop. i'm also thinking what if a club comes on 4th or 5th. gotta get away from it now before bad things happen. better to take your shot on better cards/ or at least better outs.

Too soft? Hard to consider to soft if everyone folds...

I agree with the play though, you can throw it away if another club falls.

Of course, fold to a raise.

Someone else bet on the flop and he folded. I like the fold though, I think the very least that your up against is a flush draw, but you could also be up against a set/two-pair/weaker queen, villain was first to act, I don't see him bluffing at this flop. Since, you don't have a very good idea where your at a fold is good, if you raise the flop your building too big of a pot with a weak hand.
