Default $50NL Bluff

Alright, I don't bluff a lot considering it is NL50 but I just feel that he wasn't going to call anything if I bet enough on the river. I also do feel that he would have called an all in since it would have looked like an obvious bluff.

I really have no idea what my line is here, so comments please?

Well, you won so who am I to critisize but.....

I like raise on flop. He made a gay bet and you could have AK so raise to 3x his bet is good.

When he calls he SHOULD either have you beat or be drawing to flush so turn I check fold.

River, I also check fold.

It looks to me like he got trips or maybe KQ, then got scared on the river.

Definitely a dangerous play that will almost certainly fail against a weak player who has something.

Well it worked out nice for you and will do so around 20-25% of the time, but given the stakes/and how the hand went I think 75-80% of the time you'll end up losing this hand____2______CALL STATIONS

i like this flop raise. you should chek the turn imo.

I'll only fir twice on this. once on flop. then if I chek turn, ill fire river. If i fire turn, Ill chek river. 3 barell usually means big big big bluff on end so I try to avoid this.

the line he takes I could see flush draw making. So on river, If i fire flop turn, I def chek it down fearing a c/r by him. oh olso as I re look at the HH, bet more on that turn. like bet 13$ or 15$. and then get ready for a big bluff on river

I really dont like the flop raise here, it creates a large ps way too fast. It also gets called way too often for it to be +ev imo. His half pot flop bet indicates that hes either betting a flush draw or a weak King (KQ or KJ), or a set. A small flop raise to only $6 gets called way too often (if not all the time) by that person holding a weak king - If hes dumb enough to call a pf raise with KQ, hes sure as hell not folding to a 6$ raise on the flop when he hits TP. Which is why I think its not +ev to be making that raise on that flop. A raise that small will give ur opponent enough implied odds to call for the FD - so he is for sure calling that raise with whatever hes betting with. And if he does call, you are going to have to check the turn for pot control + the fact that u only have A high. This means ur opponent is going to get 2 free cards which means u are actually giving him very good pot odds to make that flop call. He needs to call $4 to win $12.5, which is about 32% of the pot, he hits flush 35% of the time seeing 2 cards. So from that flop raise ur pretty much pricing in ur opponent with the draw, and giving him 2 free cards because u cant bet really bet the turn. Which is really bad, because if he sees you showing weakness on the turn (you check turn when its checked to you), then he is for sure going to bet this river if he misses his draw and take the pot off you.

If u raise here, you should raise more aggressively and pop it up to 8-9$ imo. But that is a very bad flop play cuz ur cards arent that great.

If u suspect ur opponent is betting a FD here, or some weak ass shit. The best way to play this imo is to flat call his flop bet, and to see how he reacts to a turn card. Essentially taking the pot off your opponent if he shows turn weakness. This works best because you have positional advantage over your opponent, and you also keep the pot small in the process.

There's damn near little reason ever 3-barrel in a cash game unless the game is dead and you wanna liven it up. Even then, you gotta pick a spot. You're lucky that you were up against a total donkey who you probably had beat with his JT or something.
