Flop: $5, 5 players
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $2, 3 folds, Hero raises to $5, UTG calls.

Turn: $15, 2 players
Hero checks, UTG bets $2, Hero raises to $4, UTG calls.

River: $23, 2 players
Hero bets $0.45, UTG calls all-in $0.42.
Uncalled bets: $0.03 returned to Hero.

Results;
Final pot: $23.84
Hero shows Qc Qd
UTG doesn't show Jh Qh

Edit: stupid converter

I know just calling pre-flop wasnt great. But I sat down with $20 so I was already nicely up. The table had been pretty donkish so I figured with a favourable flop I could clean up, which of course is what happened. UTG had been an uber donk but i didnt figure him for a stone cold bluff. Although I won, I feel I only won because the table was so bad, rather than my play being good.

Opinions please

Pre-flop: NO! Don't slow play big pocket pairs at this level. Some asshole is gonna sneak in on you with 10 4 and your going to get stacked on the flop. As bad as these donkies are you can't give them any breathing room. You HAVE TO BE aggressive, even if they all fold, it's better to win a small pot then lose a big one.

Flop - why are we check raising? You ALWAYS have to ask yourself this question before you do it. It is not serving you any purpose. What if it checked around? Then you get ZERO information about anyone. The turn could have been SUPER scary. You should just be leading out here. UTG is probably going to raise you anyway. Then you can just push.

Turn - Meh. Just put him all in with the raise.

River - not much more to do here.

The CR wasn't too bad on the flop. Nothing to be worried of here. I don't mind the call PF just because it was already raised 4x. Normally though, I'll raise again to $3 or so.

I don't like the check on the turn, while the A is scary and probable, you have to lead out.

Because of UTG and UTG+1's stacks, not to mention the PF raiser's stack, re-raise to around $3.50 PF so you can stack them on the flop or just take a nice pot when you do push this flop and you will be pushing this flop.
