This is a copy of Mr.McJs thread but instead of being about PT it is about PO, for those of us that prefer it.
Please post in here everything you think people need to know about the software.
Firstly, the official site
http://www.pokeroffice.com/
Secondly, you should know that this software is available for freewhen signing up to certain poker sites so check that out before you buy it.

Also, I think it would be a good idea to get people that play regularly and are consistent winners to post up their stats so that other people can get some idea of what to look out for in their own stats.

Poker Office v. Poker Tracker
Maybe this should be a separate thread, but I have used both Poker Office (stand alone) and Poker Tracker (with GameTime+, a heads up display).
I'm not sure which is better. I currently use Poker Office. I like its seamless integration with the H.U.D. and the way information is organized. But it does seem less stable then Poker Tracker.
In Poker Tracker you can periodically compress the database, which you can't do in Poker Office, and sometimes when my computer crashes the MySQL database used by Poker Office gets corrupted and I have to manually import my hand histories into a new database. I've never had a Poker Tracker database get corrupted.
My initial judgement on P.O. v. P.T. is that I like the Poker Office features more, but P.T. is more stable and you can maintain larger databases for longer.
But I am using P.O. because I don't value the super long term database info anyway. I want more recent info on myself and my opponents as long as the database can get big enough to give me meaningful stats.

It's very easy to export your database from PokerOffice, do it once a week to a seperate drive on your PC (if you have one) and then if it crashes and corrupts you can simply go back to that old database without having to import HHs.
Does anyone know how to combine players on PO as I play on different sites and I've heard it is possible to combine their stats.Bad Beat of the week 27/08/2006:

When you open Poker Office you have a Date Filter in the top, to the right of the date filter is a button called Update, click the button next to the Update button (Combine players/Create alias) and there you go!

Is it possible to only show the Overlay stats and not the live tracker windows when playing?

Yes, follow these steps; in the menu, click Live Tracker -> Live Tracker auto detection mode -> uncheck every option that has to do with the Live Analysis window.
