Does winning/losing a match by default (surrender outside of play, Inactive, general forfeiture, not during play) Count against/for your win loss record?

its only since ive started playin online that ive heard everything from a ladder tourney, to having AA hold up to the river, to hitting my nut flush on the river, to chasing and catching a runner runner straight, to two guys holding hands while exchanging wedding vows be described as being gay-what is it with cyberspace that everything is gay?

Does it count to your win loss. No. if it does.. include a (1 forfeit) after it. Does it affect your rating, YES.

Err yes, forgot to clarify that. Obviously it affects the rankings, but I was just wondering if people wanted it shown on the win loss record.
