There still won't be an overlay.

My response to that is: for me there will be. If i get in on a $3 rebuy, spending only $9, I consider that overlay.

But your right, there is no true overlay.

I played in these a few times.. the players are horrible.. way too many Moneymaker Jr's there gambling it up.. and such a huge player-field.. you're much better entering a $100 normal NLHE tourney or $50..

Why wouldn't you want to enter the tournament filled with horrible players again?

You have to not get unlucky in a huge field. It's like playing the WSOP. Keep the bad players, and narrow the field by a quarter, and it's a MUCH better event..

So is the WSOP.. I dunno.. prize pools have never really meant anything to me.. it could be 1 trillion dollars and have 5 million people registered.. you don't stand a good chance of winning...

To me, their $20-$50's are still the most lucrative IMHO..

i guess.... there ya get the mix of true players, those rich assholes who only THINK theyre good (yummy) and of course those scared little fish who are horribly overextending their rolls and can be bet off a hand by just looking at it
