So far the poker on WSOP television is pretty weak, "I DONT smell what Bellande is cooking" nor do I care much for the Winner of the second cirquit event televised last week.
Regarding The rest of the WSOP, I am glad to see Phil Hellmuth fall behind Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson for the race for the Tenth Bracelet, congrats to Chan and Doyle. Also, I give Greg Raymor a lot more respect for his Top 50 placing in the Main event after winning it last year. That is quite impressive. I am dissappointed in Mike Matasow's play at the final table of the Main event this year, he should have used his skills, not his mouth... but
props to him for overcoming Raymer's last year draw and also playing against Raymor again late in the Main Event. Phil Ivey is still an excellent player and I wish he had gone further than Greg and Mike and my second to last praise (preceding the praise to Joe) is the Female Poker player that made it to the last table. I hope she played quality poker rather than "Guess and Bet" poker. It will be a while before she will be televised and hopefully well get to see some good action this year, not a bunch of stories.
