The is the first year they are hosting the Sports Legends Challenge poker tournament, but I am certain it will be the greatest poker tournament I have experienced during my poker career. The Challenge features former sports superstars such as: Mike Ditka, Joe Namath, and Dr. J. What could be more fun than playing poker (for up to $10 million in cash prizes I might add) with these sports legends in Paradise Island. I can't wait for September 14th to roll around, this is going to be the greatest poker tournament ever!

That tournament sounds absolutely amazing...a little too amazing. Does anyone know if it's legit?

It has an official website and according to many...they say its legit. How awesome would it be to play poker with the legends of sports? Does anyone know if you only get to play poker with the players or will there be other interaction going on?

A friend of mine played in a tournament similar to this last year. He had an absolute blast!!

This sounds insane. It's hard to believe that an event like this is actually going on. I've been looking for a new tournament that includes a tropical location and famous people I can take money from. I'm definitely gonna look into this.

The Casino I work at ( Coushatta Casino Resort) held a qualifier for this event jsut a couple weeks back.
