Default Heads up Championship?

Anyone check out the HU championship? It's on the nbcsports.com webpage, just search up "heads up".

Phil (my hero's) loss to Durr (homo with the guy voice that rocks at online poker) was sick.

Just to ruin it for everyone, its like in the first 4 mins of the show anyways.

Phill's AA to Durr 1010.

Phil didn't even go as pshyco as he usually does basically because I think he understood theres not much you can do with 10's in HU match. Durr then whips out some Belagio chips and challanges Phil to more HU matches. Phil's response "What happens if you suck out again" I mean obviously the kid can play, but do you guys think he is any real match to Phil the great Helmuth in live play? I mean online yeah, the kid with the homo voice has probably got him. Live, imo, phil would crush him in the long run.

Then again, all you need is a chip and a chair.

Check it out.

Durr > Phil Helmuth in HU NLHE. Hands down. That is what Tom Dwan does. FWIW durr is gay, and if you are homophobic enough to not appriciate that fact that he is probably one of the greatest HE players right now because of that, you might want to rethink your priorities. No offense.

Default His name is ?

I could care less if he likes weiner or not.

He IS NOT THE BEST HU PLAYER LIVE.

Online, most likely from what I've heard.

But you have to realize there is a GIHUGEIC difference between the two.

It's still the same technical game. There is a difference for sure but by default the best online player should be intelligent enough to not give off ridiculous tells.

If I actually entered a high buy in live tournament I would wear shades/hat etc and just not talk/look at anybody the whole match.

I doubt it. What kind of tells would he pick up? HU has so many marginal spots, and hand ranges are ultrawide at least on the flop. Chances are durr has seen it all and just makes the right play. Unless they played stakes that durr wouldn't be comfy with I can't see Phil ever winning even live, especially in the long run!

Default Wow

I'll admit it... you guys got some love for Durrr.

I also agree with you wota. I don't really think phil picks up alot of tells, I just think he plays tight and waits for his opponots mistake.

He does have 11 bracelets. Regardless of what anyone thinks. That can't be fucked with.

I am alot better of a poker player and when I play my friends heads up, 2 or 3 matches, sometimes i'll lose all three. Just because I get it in with the best hand doesn't meant my opponet played 73o and hit a full house on the flop. I mean it happens.

PHILL GOT SUCKED OUT ON THE VERY FIRST HAND AA >1010 PEOPLE. Yes, nothing you can do with 10's, but phil should have won that hand and you all know it. So what happens if he wins that hand? Durr got sucked out? Nope..kid got lucky.

But who know's, this is just all imo. This durr guy must be pretty fucking good to even be playing in the Heads up Championship.

Oh, and if anyone knows his name on FTP or stars or where he usually plays you should let me know I would like to check it out.
