Chip was in first televised poker event I ever watched, it was him against some internet hotshot i think, if I remember correctly. Remember seeing a lot of the big name pros saying he is the best NL Holdem Touranemnt player....only person who did not say it was Helmuth for obvious reasons.

Ever since I first read the 7 card Stud section of Super System, I've wanted to meet Chip Reese. I've seen him play on rare occasions, and he always seemed to me to really enjoy what he did. It sucks that he died so young. I am truly saddened by his passing.
