I actually have it in my apartment and plan on reading it through again tonight. I remember the story at the beginning about him going all in against the drunk guy, and it really changed the way I think about poker situations. It really changed the way I play, more than you can understand. That section, IMO, was only surpassed by Mike Caro's draw poker section and the BB's Limit Hold 'Em section. And the last is only because I play that so much.

Quite frankly, sir, this is a topic for ALL of those who play poker or who have even just seen him play, so that they might share in mourning over the loss of a great player.

Firstly very sad that Chip is gone, far too young.

But does anyone else get the feeling he was in bad shape. If you play poker for that long you really can ruin your body with poor diet, little exercise and long periods of sleep deprivation.

But like I said. RIP the greatest cash game player ever.

Unlikely. He is famous for winning a lot of money in mixed limit cash games. Not quite the same as NL tournamnets

One of the all time greats. I wish everyone had his demeanor at the tables. Nothing but class. Trash talking need not apply.
