This is the first event of its kind to be held in China. This event is scheduled for November 22nd-27th at the Grand Waldo Hotel and Casino in Macau. This is a great step forward for poker across the world, and I am excited to see how this unfolds. Below is a list of important dates:

• November 22 – Mega-satellites to the $2,500 Main Event & Opening night party
• November 23-25 - $2,500 Main Event
• November 26-27 - $15,000 High Rollers Event
• Full schedule: Asia Pacific Poker Tour - APPT APPT Macau, People's Republic of China
  

There are also plenty of satellites running on Poker Stars for APPT Macau packages. So far there are 7 confirmed for the High Rollers Event: Joe Hachem, Isabelle Mercier, Scotty Nguyen, Barry Greenstein, Van Marcus, Liz Lieu and Terrence Chan. They are expecting to have between 40-60 players registered for that tournament, and over 200 for the $2,500 event.

I will be there, and it would be great to meet up with some other PFO guys over in Macau.

ya im playing the main event, and maybe if im lucky ill sat. into the high rollers event but prolly just there for the main event, a few sngs, and a ton of relaxin'. It's been a horrible past 2 months of online poker so this is my vacation. where are u gonna be staying?

I arrived a few days ago and this city is pretty amazing. Sorry I haven't updated at all but we're having a lot of fun exploring. The action is pretty soft at the tables, and the atmosphere is really friendly. Anyone here? I'll PM you shortly gigahung.
