Default who would win Daniel Negreanu or Phil Hellmuth?

I always wondered who was better Daniel Negreanu or Phil Hellmuth, Post, who ever you think can win heads up.

If the game was holdem, I'd have to go with Phil. Any other game and Daniel's the man.

EDIT: Of course, this is in the long run... In a single heads-up match, it's anyone's ballgame.

I think Phil's a tricky bastard. Daniel's observant.

Phil would fundamentally be offensive, and Daniel would be defensive (I'm not referring to actual play; I'm referring to the relationship/matchup). The offensor, the one making the moves, wins more often. I learned that from my CS:S days...

I bet Phil would win 60%-70% of the time.

Both are the best readers in the game IMO, but if i had to chose, I'd have to go with Hellmuth and his arrogant ways.

I think Daniel could gain an advantage by taking Phil off his game. Phil likes to keep the pot small and if Daniel takes that away from Phil, it would either even the game or give Daniel a slight edge.

Another question is who would you want to win

I still hate the arrogant one no matter how good he is

I would be rooting for Negreanu all the way!

depends on the structure. if it was a 100BB or deeper cash game, hellmuth would not have a chance. sick tourney player, but such a donk at cash.
