About LinkBacksWas watching HSP season 4 epsiode 2 today and it dawned on me that Phil Laak is not that great of a player and is extremely irritating.
He isnt funny and his antics annoy the crap out of me. All ive ever seen him do is play as tight as a ducks arse and play practically nothing but the nuts. He was big winner in season 2 coz he hit everything in sight.
He must be a decent player. What does everyone else think? Do u enjoy his nonsense at the table? Doesnt the fact that he can't say a sentence without going uuuuuuhhhh and then saying words slowly...ffs. Sorry to berate the guy, but he bugs me so much. Whereas ppl like Matusow and Hellmuth i great players and they are actually funny.

Yeah I agree. Funny at first, you think here's something different. But he does get fuckin annoying, imagine playing with him!
As for the poker, he's decent IMO but not the best.
I do prefer him than Hellmuth though. I fuckin hate that guy! I watched a WSOP episode last night where he arrived late, as usual, in a limo, of course. Tod brunson is a bit of a legend but isn't quite at the level of Negreanu or Ivey for idol status.
Hellmuths' blow up was awesome, LOL.For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

Laak is one of those borderline (or perhaps past the border) geniuses, so he's going to be a bit........odd.

handle on FT is called Jew Anda. He pretended to be john juanda on FT, and told everyone he chainged his name b/c he got circumsized.
on 2+2 I think he said that he made a prop bet w/ MM about Jamioe Gold's handle on FT. Brunson then pointed out that Jamie told him personally what the handle was, so he basiclaly made free money.
