I love arguing over pointless shit. I just think it's a tad less confusing to call it bet/raise/rereaise, etc.
But to reiterate, limping with Aces is a dangerous play, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't. Not something I do all the time, but I like to try to do it sometimes. Kinda like trying to shoot the moon in hearts with a less than premium hand.

I hope jharding's right cos otherwise I've made some huuuuuuge mistakes with people "3betting light preflop".
Hmm, simplest way to put it. Bet (1), Raise (2), Reraise (3).
Limping aces every now and again is fine, sure. But the thing everyone seems to be missing is you were OUT OF POSITION.

I think my problem is that on some sematic level I don't consider the blind to be a "bet" in the normal useage of the word.
I don't think out of position really matters, if anything it might help, when slowplaying. Easier to get rid of it with minimal investment when a terrible flop comes and fireworks start up behind you.

As we're being pedantic this thread, he isn't limping AA, he's cold calling AA.
