Default Official 2007 WSOP Thread

Its been going on since June 1st. I believe ME is sometime around July 6th.

POkerNews is official coverage: http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/ (too bad, cardplayer was 10x better)

Card Pleyr is not official, so they cannot get the photos interviews and stats like PokerNews can: http://www.cardplayer.com/tournaments/event_list/842

Official WSOP site (I think), you can purchase coverage for money and watch the action live (w/ a time delay): http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/

IDK what the etiquette should be about spoilers. I guess the whole point is to discuss the action, so I will say this thread will have spoilers, so if you do not wish to know who wins what (and just find out via ESPN's TV coverage) stay away.

Allen Cunningham won a bracelet in the 5k event, and Phil Hellmuth is at a final table 2nd in chips (I think)> Hellmuth will resume tomorrow, and I will orgasm so hard (yeah stevo, you noob, hellmuth is the best) if he wins #11

Final Table for 12 or 13 was pretty loaded! Can't wait for the ESPN coverage on it.

I believe it was the PL HE event.

Is Allen Cuninghams 5th bracelet win a bigger achievement than all the guys with 10 given when Doyle first won the main event he probably beat a field of about 13?

When do the first events get shown on TV? Or more to the point, when can I download the first events?

Hellmuth is sick. But congrats to the guy, even if you hate him he's the best NLHE tourney player around by far imo.

Plus it is (I think) the 4th year in a row that Allen Cunningham won a bracelet, and these are HUGE fields.

Couple that with his FT at the ME last year, and it is safe to say that Allen Cunningham qwns all.

Edit: Make that three consecutive years of winning bracelets. Still impressive
