    Default The 3rd Annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship has been announced...

    The 64-player field for the 3rd Annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship has been announced, and among the notable pros gunning for the title will be Team Bodog’s David Williams. The event, which takes place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from March 1-4, 2007, follows closely on the heels of the WPT LA Poker Classic, where Williams and fellow Bodog pros Josh Arieh and Evelyn Ng are competing. This will be Williams’ third straight year competing in poker’s premiere Heads-Up tournament, which airs on NBC starting in April.

    Other poker pros confirmed for this year’s National Heads-Up Poker Championship include defending champ, Ted Forrest, and the 2005 champion, Phil Hellmuth. Several card tossing celebrities will also be in attendance for the tournament including Jennifer Tilly, Don Cheadle and Shannon Elizabeth. The brackets for the single elimination tournament will be set at the official "draw party" at PURE nightclub on Thursday, March 1.
