Jamie Gold Radio Interview – You have to hear this tool!
You have to listen to this radio interview new WSOP champ Jamie Gold did on " Rounders" Guy's ego is unreal...calls on Hellmuth to play a Million dollar heads-up freeze out. Bashes Cunningham..."I screwed him up so bad he was shaking!" Sounds like a real douche bag. Here's a link to the interview mp3 http://www.bigpoker.ca/resources/rounders/Rounders_The-Poker-Show_2006-08-13.mp3

this guy is such a douche.
he indirectly says in the interview at least like 2-3 times that he is about the best player in the world.

I just finished listening to this. I had no respect for him going into the final table from reading the Updates on CardPlayer, but gained a ton of respect for him as I watched the final table.
After hearing this shit, I definitely hate the guy and I heard that Bryan Micon tore him a new one a couple of times and I hope it's on TV. I know he knocked out Prahlad, who was very gracious afterwards.
The big names have little respect for him. I was reading a blog where it said the Mike Matusow called Allen Cunningham, "Mr. Can't Even Beat Jamie Gold" as a joke while Matusow was running badly and Cunningham was card catching. Cunningham replied along the lines of him not being able to beat the guy who finished second and had a "lol" afterwards.

i'm not surpised he's is so coky, its not his fault. I mean he's beat the best and came out on top, and from what i hear sounds like he played some good poker.
He on a high so i dont blame him.
I was wondering where you got this radio feed

Oh he must be "HIGH" if he really thinks he's the Kobey Bryant of poker lol 12 million could sure buy a lot of dank.
The radio show is from a poker radio show out of Vancouver Canada, I think their one of the first shows to do an interview with him...I found it on their home page www.bigpoker.ca

True, but Hellmuth seems a lot worse than that?
Cant wait to see the TV coverage.
Btw, anyone noticed on Stars people suddenly bluff like there's no tomorrow and show all their bluffs too? Esp in MTTs.

True but he has 10 bracelets, all in NLHE, to back him up.

Btw, I dont get this strategy of Jamie limping from UTG with anything.
How does that kill any action? Anyone with a pair should at least limp behind, if only for set value.

Does he do that everytime, because people will pick up on that.

No not everytime. I'm walking through the HHs on Cardplayer now, actually other players did this UTG limping too, I don't quite get the idea here if you have to throw the hand away to a raise, plus you give at least the BB a free shot at beating you, probably the SB too who will call with anything that could turn into a monster hand.
