Breaking News: WCOOP schedule

One of the great things about having an ear to the ground at PokerStars is knowing things like this before almost anybody else. I'm proud to give you a first look at one of the coolest PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker schedules in recent memory. It looks like PokerStars is guaranteeing $10,000,000 for the tournament series this year. What's more, you'll have the chance to play Razz and HORSE by the time WCOOP rolls around. There are some amazing events this year, kicking off with Razz and ending with a $5,000 HORSE event and a massive $3 million guaranteed main event. Please note, this schedule could be modified before the launch of the 2006 WCOOP. Still, this should give you a good idea of what you're going to see in September. Enjoy.

September 17: NL Hold 'em ($500+$30) $1,500,000 guaranteed
September 18: PL Omaha (rebuys) ($300+$20) $400,000 guaranteed

September 20: Limit Omaha High/Low ($500+$30) $300,000 guaranteed
September 21: NL Hold 'em (rebuys) ($200+$15) $1,000,000 guaranteed
September 22: Limit Hold 'em ($200+$15) $200,000 guaranteed
September 23: HORSE ($200+$15) $100,000 guaranteed
September 23: PL Hold 'em ($500+$30) $400,000 guaranteed
September 24: NL Hold 'em ($1,000+ $50) $1,000,000 guaranteed
September 25: Seven Card Stud ($300+$20) $100,000 guaranteed
September 26: PL Omaha8 ($300+$20) $200,000 guaranteed
September 27: PL Hold'em ($300+$20) $400,000 guaranteed

I'll play sats and pimp myself around the casinos to sell cheap shares, but I don't see myself putting up a full stake for any. I stopped playing online tournies for so long that I'm just started to get used to the pace again... not to mention that I'm always iffy to putting too much money into an online tourney where a bit of the game is missing 'cause I need all the edge I can find in an MTT.

If i sell enough shares of myself to afford it.. im playing in 3 events, the $215 limit holdem, match play, and HORSE... definitely playing in at least one... 2 or 3 depends on how many shares i sell... PM me if you are interested in buying any shares from me

of all my tournament winnings in this year's WCOOP, 5% will be donated to charity

bump... closing in on the ultimate 2 weeks of online poker... little update... since ive been selling shares of myself i am now playing in at least 3 events... possibly four if enough of the remaining shares sell... the events im gonna be in as of now are:

$215 Razz
$215 Limit Hold'em
$215 H.O.R.S.E.

im excited for this and definatly want to play the nl holdem matchplay or the low limit nl holdem... i would do the horse event too, but im somewhat new to this game and i dont like being dead money except at strip clubs

for those of you who have played in the wcoop before, how have you done??

not very well... last year the idiot who backed me bought me in to the $215 NLHE with rebuys... with only one buyin!!!!
