Default Hellmuth denied bracelet #10 by an outdraw heads up

After a flop of , Jeff Cabanillas bet 60K, Phil Hellmuth moved all in, and Cabanillas called. The players showed:

Jeff Cabanillas
Phil Hellmuth

Both players had a pair and identical straight draws. Hellmuth had the higher pair, but Cabanillas also had a straight-flush draw. According to an odds calculator, Cabanillas was a slight favorite by a few percentage points, and they would chop the pot about 20% of the time.

The turn card was the , giving Hellmuth a solid lead with trip fours. Hellmuth was a 3-to-1 favorite at this point, with a chop about 13% of the time.

But the river card was the , giving Cabanillas a diamond flush to win the hand -- and the bracelet.

Phil Hellmuth earned $423,893. At last year's WSOP Tournament of Champions, Phil remarked that "Nobody remembers second place." They'll remember this one. It was a final table for the ages.

Jeff Cabanillas overcame all the odds to defeat the nine-time WSOP champion. Cabanillas earned $818,546, and a coveted WSOP bracelet.

Been reading some of the hands on a few sites and it sounds sick, Phil really took some shitty beats.

A53 flop, Phil has 53 and bets about 300k into it, donk calls with J5 and turn comes a five.

Whats worse is he doesnt even reraise phil when he outdraws him.
Eg 653 turn x river 3, and phil bet the turn and flop and river - donk calls on river and turns over 73o...why the fuck didnt he reraise?

Phil was soooo unlucky.

Ouch. I felt really bad for him. I watched the interview and the armchair-poker-table-psychologist in me was just seeing every WSOP final table race before his very eyes at the same time. When he wins anything, watching it really gives me that feeling that I'm watching something special- more special than the funny cry-baby antics and bad beats. He truly is one of the best tournament players in history.

Where can we watch the interview/listen to it?

Did anyone else hear that it was untelevised and surprise surprise he was a gentleman to the eventual winner.
