Default LHE Tourny?!!? help!

So I accidently registered for a limit holdem tourny on party, I've managed to build a decent stake just playing tight against the donks, but now I'm running into more solid players... any changed I should make from a basic cash game strategy?

Oh how I hate limit tourneys. I have done ok in O8b tourneys, but I still hate them. Good luck.

woo double the average stack with 100 ppl left, 50 get paid. Just cashing in this damn thing would be a huge victory.

Yeah, Ignore M's and Q's. You really aren't short stack until you have <5 BB's. Yes, one hand will cripple you, but you don't have to consider doing an "all-in" till you are REALLY short. to put 5 BB's in the pot in limit, You actually have to make a serious effort. Without a hand, this is stupid.

Malmuth is right here (Shut Up Beavis), in limimt tournaments You need to go out with a wimper, not a bang. There is no doubling up early, there is only survival.

Now I'm not syaing play weak. Play your edges HARD, get all the chips you can. But you can't go donking your stack off, it takes too long to recoup. In a cash ga me you can just sit there and fold fold fold until you get a hand. You can't do this here, the blinds will eventually over run you. All you need to do is stay ahead of the blinds.
