Default How obnoxious is Josh Schlein?

Just finished watching the Aruba WPT tournament. That Josh kid is a major freak. He obviously spends to much time at home in front of his computer trash talking the screen to online players. I just wanted to punch him.

He went heads up with Freddy Deeb. I wont spoil it for anyone who doesnt know who won.

I kept thinking the whole time someone should give him a fix. Seemed kinda strung out to me. Deeb was watching him and I'm imagining him thinking "wtf is this kid on?" He was so busy be the drama queen he missed Freddy picking up every tell he was giving off. The kid couldn't even fold PF without making a scene!! Attention starved? Kids like that give the impression that anyone who plays online is a social inepts who don't know how to act in public.

Granted, he probably had very little live experience given his age, but it seems he would be smart enough to realize that with all the drama he runs the risk of someone picking up a read. I was just reading something about how he thinks the pros lose their edge online because they can't get the psychological reads they need. Well if he believes that then why didn't he sit down and shut up?

haha, yes, i loved it how deeb would just look at him with this crazy expression on his face, like "what the hell is wrong with this kid?"

his bluff of 73o on the other guys flush was pretty impressive, though. he looked like he knew what he was doing, but i agree, just a little too dramatic in every action.

Seems like I've read (don't remember where) that if you know you won't be able to hide your tells, then give your opponent far more information then he can process. Seeings as I've one of those people who have a hard time hiding my tells (need a lot more practice RL) I tend to be chatty and animated at a table. Not sure if he was doing the same thing, but he did pull off some nice bluffs and if he was giving off as many tells as we seem to think, Deeb should have been able to read into those...

You guys know Josh Schlein is PP100, right?

Seriously, that kid was a tool ADHD at its finest. However much he won will be gone in 6 months. He'll spend it on something he has never seen, pussy. And I'm sure some "friends" will come out of the woodwork.
