WSOP.com announces New Jersey online tournament series

why-new-jersey-2Well that didn’t take very long did it? The paint on the soft launch period isn’t even dry yet and Caesars Entertainment is already promoting an online tournament series for New Jersey poker players: The New Jersey Online Championships Tournament Series.

According to the WSOP.com website, the NJOCTS (I’m not writing that out again) is a nine-event series bookended by a pair of $250k freeroll tournaments. The series is scheduled to begin on January 19th, so you still have some time to prepare for it, and along with the $500k up for grabs in the freerolls there will be a further $500k in guaranteed prize money on the line.

* Event #2: WSOP.com Online Championships $215 NLH R&A $50k Guaranteed on 1/20/2014

* Event #3: WSOP.com Online Championships $109 PLO R&A $25k Guaranteed on 1/21/2014

* Event #4: WSOP.com Online Championships $215 NLH $30k Guaranteed on 1/22/2014

* Event #5: WSOP.com Online Championships $109 NLH $25k Guaranteed on 1/23/2014

* Event #6: WSOP.com Online Championships $215 NLH 6 Max $50k Guaranteed on 1/24/2014

* Event #7: WSOP.com Online Championships $109 NLH $70k Guaranteed on 1/25/2014

* Event #8: WSOP.com Online Championships $530 NLH $250k Guaranteed on 1/26/2014

* Event #9: WSOP.com Online Championships $250,000 Player’s Freeroll on 2/2/2014

Eligibility for the January 19th freeroll

Any player registering an account at the WSOP.com New Jersey online poker site from now until December 9th, 2013 will receive a confirmation code for the January 19th $250k freeroll.

Additionally, any player making a minimum deposit of $10 between December 10th and January 16th will also receive a ticket for the January 19th freeroll tournament.

Eligibility for the February 2nd freeroll

Any player who participated in Events #1 through #8 of the NJOCTS will be eligible to participate in the final event, the $250k freeroll tournament on February 2nd.
