Guillaume From Canada earns another title

Canadian Poker player Guillaume also known as nolet20 in the poker world has another title in his resume which he added on June 3rd when he emerged as the top in the PartyPoker KO series $500k Gtd Championship Event. Nolet has been doing great and he can brag about victories he has had in PokerStars MicroMillions Main Event as well as the PokerStars Super Tuesday. In the past, he has made it to the WCOOP final table.

In this KO series, there were 447 entries; those who finished at the top were 56 and they earned a share of the $500,000 prize pool. There was a mini cash worth $1,525 as well as bounties the players picked up. In the final table appearance, there was at least $4,735 to be won. This was the amount that ‘DaviAugusto’ collected for finishing in 8th place and $3,185 from the bounty prize pool. 

The seventh place was taken by ‘StillTrying’ who walked away with $6,501. He earned a total of 17 bounties, the most that anyone earned in the tournament. This amounted to $10,172. ilove2fish was in sixth place ‘frokennatur’ was in fifth and ‘mchang’ was in the fourth position walking away with $17,658 and $8,165 in bounties respectively. 

Patrick ‘Patruck’_Leonard’ Leonard who is an ambassador to Partypoker was in third place and took away $28,367. he left ‘teachmesire’ and Nolet locking horns for the first place prize, but Nolet denied  ‘techmesir’ the win. Nolet walked home with $51,104 and $55,449 in bounties and this included the bounty on his head. 

In the KO Series championship, there was a $65,400 even after 848 players played for the $500,000 guaranteed event. ‘Whodatt’ took full advantage of this and walked away with the prize money. 

The champion went away with $40,537 in bounties and this is after eliminating 21 players on the way to the win. This was close to  double the amount of the runner up ‘BackDoorMat’ and the fourth position was ‘KONY2012’. These two eliminated 11 players. ‘tHeClaimEr1’ also eliminated 12 opponents as he finished in the fourteenth position.
