David Pham is the winner of WSOP

David Pham has added a WSOP gold ring to put along with three other WSOP gold bracelets he has won. Tuesday saw him ship the WSOP Circuit Los Angeles $1675 Main Event at the Bicycle Hotel and Casino for $216,790. Pham is known in the world of poker as The Dragon. He has been in professional poker playing for more than twenty years and this has been a great start for him in 2018. Last week, he surpassed the $10 million mark in lifetime live poker winnings at The Wynn Poker Classic $1600 championship for $204, 254.

The World Series of Poker had 705 entrants who created a prize pool of $1,057,500. This is an increase from 687 entrants when the festival visited Los Angeles in January.

The third day of the amazing competition began with eleven players battling for the title where each player was guaranteed to walk home with $16,305. When the action kicked off, Scott Saunders doubled his short stack when playing with Pham but Pham took it all when his pocket queens held against king-jack from Saunders. Saunders hit the cashier for the 11th place prize of $16,305 as the remaining 10 players redrew for the unofficial final table.
