With the recent news of the United States DOJ cracking down on online poker sites, many players are confused as to where they can still play online. Full Tilt and PokerStars used to be the top spots to play, while sites like Bodog and BetOnline were rarely talked about. Now that the US DOJ has declared that Full Tilt Poker was a Ponzi scheme, and PokerStars has shut down it's US operation US players are left with just a few choices.

BetOnline is one of the last spots that US players are playing. They function mainly as a sportsbook, but they also have a poker room that many players call home. The site runs it's own software, and it's not a skin like so many other rooms. This site has a great sign up bonus for new players, and they also have regular tournaments. The action on this site has increased greatly since Full Tilt and PokerStars shut down.
