Going into November’s final table it appears that a lot of bettors like Phil Ivey for the win: Despite having less than 10 million chips Ivey is going off at 4 to 1. Chip leader Darvin Moon is currently at 17/10, making him the betting-line favorite to win it all. The sexy pick seems to be young pro Joe Cada, who has over 13 million in chips and is currently paying off at 10 to 1!
For those of you who have more of a ‘glass half empty’ type of perspective; you can put a wager on who goes out first! It seems short-stack James Akenhead is the likely first to go; he’s currently 2 to 1. Personally I think Ivey is a good pick here at 9/2: 9th to 2nd are the same to him, so I’m sure he’ll be playing to win, and willing to gamble.
And of course there are the prop bets:
~What will the suit of the final river card in the Main Event?
~Where will Phil Ivey be eliminated?
~Last longer: Ivey or Moon?
